How does 1 to 1 Zoom lessons work?
if you are residing outside Singapore, or residing in Singapore but worried about covid, we are now able to conduct our P.B.E.S™ Pop Piano Improvisation course (for adults) via Zoom. For more information on the course, ► click here. The online lessons are not pre-recorded videos. They are actual lessons conducted LIVE with an assigned instructor. At our end, we connect using LAN cable instead of wireless connection, using fibre broadband Internet which delivers up to 2Gbps. We use 2 separate HD cameras, one for top view above piano and one for the instructor’s front view. The audio will be fed separately using a condenser clip-on mic for speech and a direct LINE-OUT from the piano auxilary outputs, which means you get crsytal clear sound during your lesson.
Please note that as of now, only our P.B.E.S™ Pop Piano Improvisation course is available for Skype/Zoom lessons. The rest of our other P.B.E.S™ courses such as Jazz Piano, Pop Vocal and Pop Piano Junior are only available at our school physically in Singapore.

As of now, only our P.B.E.S™ Pop Piano Improvisation course is available for Skype/Zoom lessons. The rest of our other P.B.E.S™ courses such as Jazz Piano, Pop Vocal and Pop Piano Junior are only available at our school physically in Singapore.
Our available languages are English, Japanese, Chinese, Bahasa, Tagalog and Malay. Lessons will be held on a weekly basis or at your preferred pace. We would prefer a fixed day & time every week, however you can also have your lessons on a flexible scheme, meaning with no fixed timing and as and when you prefer. Each lesson is 45mins of duration. Upon registration and payment, we will contact you within 12 hours to arrange your first lesson. In any event if we are unable to fit your schedule before the commencement of any lessons, we will do a full refund.
The minimum payment is per 4 lessons, which you can ideally have your lessons spaced once per week (4 weeks – One lesson per week). All payment must be made in advanced before the start of any lessons via Paypal, which we will send a payment request for subsequent lessons (after your first purchase of 4 lessons). There are no ‘school holidays’ or ‘school terms’ where you pay school fees for literally no lessons. As such, It does not matter which part of the month you register and commence your first lesson, as school fees will be prorated accordingly.
What do I need to prepare on my end?
Technically, the least you will need to install the Skype or Zoom software (APP, Mac or PC) with a reasonable fast speed internet connection. You will also need to hear your playing and your voice, so you need a simple microphone which are usually built in in Laptops. For video wise, it is completely optional to what you like us to view. You may point your camera at your piano at any angle within your means, or only at your face, or totally do without any video at all. The least we need is to hear your playing and your voice, and we are able to conduct the lesson. On your end, of course, you will get to see a top view of our hands and piano which you can see exactly note-for note.
