Over the decade, Mr Martinez has been actively involved as a facilitator for various training courses in piano performance, chamber music, music education;  developing a broad knowledge of music history along the way. His passion in the field of musical education eventually directed him to the International University of La Rioja (UNITE), from where he graduated with a Masters in Secondary Teacher Education.

THE SYNOPSIS:

 

The Hypolydian mode, the sixth of the eight church modes of medieval music theory. (I)  A diatonic octave species ranging from C to the C an octave higher, then divided at the final F, F (C–D–E–F + F–G–A–B–C) (II)  F as the final, ambitus from lower C to the D above.

 

Ptolemy of Alexandria gave the term Hypolydian to one of his seven toni, or transposition keys. This mode is seen as the authentic fifth mode's plagal counterpart. Intervals within this mode are divided by the final into an upper pentachord – TONE-TONE-TONE-SEMITONE, and a lower tetrachord TONE-TONE-SEMITONE. The mode is characterized by the predominance of Bflat instead of Bnatural as the fourth degree above the final.

 

 

中世音楽理論における8つの教会旋法、ドリア旋法、ヒポドリア旋法、フリギア旋法、ヒポフリギア旋法、リディア旋法、ヒポリディア旋法、ミクソリディア旋法、ヒポミクソリディア旋法のうち、ヒポリディア旋法とは、第六旋法にあたる。中世音楽理論では、この旋法は、
2480;イアトニックのオクターブ種としてC音からその１オクターブ上のC音までの音が並び、終止音F音によりCDEFとFGABCに分けられる、と定義される。もしくは、終止音をF音とし、終止音より下のC音から終止音より上のＤ音に渡る音階を持つもの、とも定義される。

 

ヒポリディア旋法の名称は、アレクサンドリアのクラウディオス・プトレマイオスが音階の７音あるいは調性のなかの一つに用いた呼び名に由来する。この旋法は正格旋法である第五旋法の変格旋法である。この旋法において、終止音で分けた上位のペンタコードは全音－全& 899;－全音－半音の音程を持ち、下位のテトラコードは全音－全音－半音の音程を持つ。 B♮はB♭としても置き換えられ、終止音より4度上のこのB音がこの旋法を特徴づける。

PBE Japan’s Chief Instructor - Midori Ishida 石田みどり, a veteran Japanese jazz pianist, composer and educator, who holds years of study, exceptional training and countless professional performances behind her. She began learning classical music at the age of 4, where an exceptional talent was discovered in the fact that she was able to play by ear completely naturally.

 

During her stay abroad, she actively participated in various classical and jazz performances across the United Kingdom. In 2011, she collaborated with one of Japan's foremost calligraphers Takeda Souun at Roppongi Hill. Later that year, she began appearing as a guest pianist for an FM radio in Yokohama, and continued to play there until 2012. It was also during this year when she released her solo piano debut album titled ‘Everlasting’. Today, Midori Ishida is a notable solo pianist and keyboardist who is consistently present in the metropolitan area of Tokyo.
